End of season pictures
Sorry the car is so dirty--time to keep it maintained has been scarce between the new house and the job. It was a gorgeous day, so I figured I'd take advantage before she goes into storage in a week or two!
Engine Swap Details:
A lot of the New York guys are aware of the engine swap already. For the rest of you, this winter we'll be installing a full stainless steel frame in the car, a stainless steel engine cradle, and the
3800 S/C V-6.
I know the basics of what we'll be putting into the engine before the car is done, but as of yet I haven't decided on most of the "manufacturers" (ie. Crane, Comp Cams, etc.) Here's a list of the mods that'll be done to the engine before the winter is over. There's going to be a LOT of them, and I'm sure I've missed some things on this list

Noiiiiice. Thats exactly how a fire should look man. Good work
damn so mean looking! and after the swap it'll have all the bite to back up the bark. gonna be badass!
f'n perfect in every way... i love it everything about.... this car is the perfect example of how J's should be modded. everything flows, everything matches, everything fits... im so flippin tired of clicking links on here and seeing garbage with kits that dont fit and crazy mods that are nothing more than a waste of money... this thread reminds me how possible it is to mod a J tastefully. THANKYOU! the nicest J ive seen on here in a long time. and i dont give compliments like that very often...
My car wants to be your car when it grows up. Hott

Absolutely Amazing..
EXACTLY what I would do to a sunfire
.
.
amazing looking sunfire bro........ If i had one mine would look just like that i wouldnt change a thing about it. all tho i would probably build a 2.4 and turbo it instead of a l67 swap lol. but if i had the time and money i would probably do the same thing

Thanks for all the compliments so far, guys. Means a lot that there're people out there who appreciate what I've done to this car. Seems as though without graphics, TV's and fiberglass, people don't give it too much notice at shows
One important thing I think I forgot to mention about the motor swap is that it'll all be done by Ryan and I in-house. That being our shop (RD Fabs) in Port Byron, N.Y. Our goal is 400+ horsepower (which should be very, very easy) and to make it kind of a "poster child" for the business and what we can do. Will this be a Corvette beater? Yes...oh yes!

What else ya wanna know?
-MD- Z24:
Well, the main reason we're doing the auto is that the car is already automatic, the transmission I'm getting is FREE off the owners car (since he won't need it after the RWD conversion) and I like the way auto's handle nitrous. Much less stress, y'know?
awesome man I am very impressed!

that is a very hot sunfire, do you happen to have that first pic in hi res w/o the date cause it'd make a nice desktop for me =)

You know my comments on her bro! Sex on wheels......
.. Riding in it last friday night made me miss driving my car soo bad. Only 6 more months till we can take them back out of storage and have another fun season. I'm dying to see what ryan is going to do since now he has some serious competition. I've got to get out the shop one of these nights again. See ya around buddy.
Do me a favor and spray like a 150shot through the 2200 and film it. I wanna see if it can handle it.
And im not joking!
