HID+ Projector lights (13 pics)

Well a big thanks goes out to Chris, aka Stauntons1Fire, for the black projector headlights. These arrived on my doorstep at about noon today, so I went out and started work immediately. It's dark in the final pics because I had to go to town and sit at the BMV for a few hours so I could transfer my title. With litle breaks, the install prolly took about 4-5 hours total (I take my time). I know the driver's side angel eye needs adjusted (bad), but I'll get to it. Anyways, on to the pics.

Here are the HID Ballasts Passenger and Driver's side:

Here's a little mod I had to do for these to fit....

Nearly all ready...

Close the hood...

That's just condensation on the hood BTW.

Here's the turn signals/running lights...

The headlights...

They're bright as hell. All the lights are off. Yes, my garage is a mess.

And here's the cutoff before any adjustment.

Keep in mind the car's only a few feet away from the garage door.

Any comments and criticism are/is welcome, as well as any suggestions on how to wire the angel eyes to the running lights (not so they blink with TS and hazards). Thanks for looking!

-J

a few points for you to consider,

I am not sure if you modded the projectors at all, but altho u are close, they seem to have a pretty nasty glare output, maybe from further away its not so bad, but even close mine are a defined cutoff.

Secondly You are gonna want to seal up that ballast especially if its upside down like that or its gonna get water in it and fry it.

You may also want to add aditional waterproof methods, such as silicone, to any place wires could be exposed (relays or connections) I have gone through a few relays due to this.

How do you recommend I seal the ballasts? Thanks for that info though, I never knew.

The driver's projector is fine, just the angel eye got knocked loose somehow (came that way), so when I go home this weekend, I'm gonna take off the lens and fix that. And yes, my bumper does sag a lot mor than I'd like. I'm trying to figure out how to fix it. Any suggestions?

Okay great news everyone. I popped off the lens of the DS headlight today and fixed the angel eye.

YAY!!!

It doesn't look so sad anymore!

Couple other shots.

I also fixed the bumper sag, but it was too dark to get pics once I finished.'

Feedback welcome.
