i have a buddy that bought one of those plastic fake superchargers off ebay.......
BIG MISTAKE DO NOT BUY THIS NEWBIES!! OR ANYONE FOR THAT MATTER!!!
after installing this pos which had to be fabbed in, no cutting just bending and shaving, we took it for a spin. the gain in hp and additional acceleration was crappy.. so he called it a loss, kept it on for about 1 week and then noticed his car was bogging down, and then shut off.... this thing was breaking down and sending plastic sheers into the engine... needles to say he got @!#$..... just some advice.
That's why I dont buy from ebay LOL... I just pay the extra 20 bucks and buy parts from a performance shop.. Although I know people who have got great deals from ebay. So keep your fingers crossed when ordering or just pay the extra bit of money .
i buy off e bay, but i contact the parts dealer directly, usually can get a phone # or some point of contact, i have bought lots off ebay, never had problems, knock on wood...

as long as you don't fall for marketing scams and cheap junk, ebay can be a great place to get stuff from. you gotta do research on parts before hand though. that way you'll know if something will give the "20+ horsepower" that it claims or not. lol.
lol.... my friend did that to his air intake and instead of them being plastic he ended up having the bolts go straight through his intake manifold and into the motor
he should of bought the cool fake bov too
