i was just wonderin.....does anyone know how fast the fastest cavalier is in the US or world?
or what are some of the fastest times ever recorded for a cavalier? any stats or anything that anyone has on this would be awesome.
im currently working on a build for a z24 that would allow me to break into 11's, thats why im asking
any stats or websites about it? like what he is running?

A full blown tube chassis Eco drag machine.
It is a drag car, NHRA competitor. They actually had to change the class rules and penalize the car 100lbs because it was so fast.

Those pics are not of Hoyo's Cavalier. His was the Orange cav that's now a Cobalt if I'm not mistaken.
Those pics are of Marty Ladwig's Sunfire, which I think was down in the 8's. Don't quote me on that though.
True said WW, but I beileve that sunfire is the closest Street-legal profffessional race car there is. But it still isnt street legal. I just dont think its tubed.

The Saturn did set the land speed record for it's class. That will be broken by the Cobalt once they run it. I believe it already has, but didn't count since the car wasn't yet in production.

Matt Hartford's Pro RWD V6 Caddy CTS based twin turbo @ 6.52.
Hoyos was the first FWD Cavy in the 7's in NHRA and ran a 7.40 best last year . Ladwig is in that car this year and ran a 202MPH best. Factory Eco turbo power.
Ron Lummus is in (psuedo unibody) Modified now (Ladwig's old class and Sunfire) and has run a 7.83. Gardella also runs Modified in a Cobalt.
Lisa won $10K in the Saturn for being first the first 7 second FWD run at a NOPI race.
Street legal... no one really knows, but the phase 5 Cobalts run in the 12's. There's two of those with factory help and young lady's driving.
Hahn's probably got a good running Eco J that's street legal. 11's is a good target.
