I pulled this power window motor out of my 88 Buick Regal and it looks kinda the same as a Sunfire motor. Will it work if i put it in my Sunfire??

I'd say pull the one from the Sunfire and try it. Make sure you count any teeth first so you don't blow out the regulator.

Good Luck

Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.

Check with GM and see if the same part numbers would match up, if they do then go ahead and do the rest and if they don't then find one at a junk yard.

GM uses the same window motors in all sorts of different cars... but that is definitely not the one used in the j-bodies.

Dood, power window motors are inexpensive.

The one I bought for my old cavalier was about 45 dollars brand new.

Just buy a new one, drill out the rivets holding it in your door and the new one comes with all of the hardware to install it.
Takes, maybe, an hour to install it with simple hand tools and a drill.
