Sounds like it needs head work or a better cam selection. Upping the boost that much should net you more than just 50 horses.

Either way, I'm not trying to knock it or be a boner. That's just a straight badass car.

Is the tranny/driveshaft/rear end strong enough to run slicks with that kind of power? That thing would be a trip on slicks.

lolz. I paid $5800, which is about what the engine cost to build. the heads are stock with bigger valves and a major port job, so i'm sure a set of nice aluminum heads would REALLY open it up. the cam is a big comp roller, and the pistons are forged 9:1. it has a south side machine 4-link rear suspension setup and subframe. it has a great layout of gauges, even though the interior could use a bit of attention (seat, headliner). it has a 5 point cage with a swing out that was definetly built by someone who knew what the were doing. i'm still kind of on the fence as to whether or not i like the paint, but it was done well for what it is. the wheels are badass imo. the rear end will be one of the first upgrades somewhere down the line, being that it's just a 7.8" with 3.42s and an eaton posi. it does great on the highway, but slicks would absolutely obliterate it. And i don't think i'm quite serious enough for ibroke300 yet, but maybe someday i will be on that level. i went out an took a couple real quick pics. the car needs a bath bad.
