Outers are no problem, but yes, you will have to drill for the inner filler panel.

the 03+ inners will fit fine you just have to hack off the extra plastic studs that the 95-02 trunks don't need

Actually your all still wrong... just playin..
if your going aftermarket with the rksport pieace, you dont have to hack anything off. but if you want the stock rear then you can!.. lol

i just put 03's on my 99 yesterday and didn't hack anything off. all stock. the left fit just fine, but there's a slight gap on the right. don't know why if the left went in ok. it looks funky because i didn't get the piece that goes along the trunk. i still have the 02's there. i can post pics tonite when i get home if anyone wants to see.
