Adjusting the one piece headlights
Sunday, November 04, 2007 8:39 PM
Anybody have any tips on how to adjust the headlights who have bought the one piece headlights off of ebay. I just got my black ones and can't seem to get my highs and lows to properly project. I can get my lows adjusted right but when I go to adjust my highs so they're not shining into the sky my lows just go down. Any help appreciated.

i have the same problem with mine i just gave up on them and adjusted the lows high enough to where i could see good and not be blinding people that are comeing down the road. i really dont think they can be adjusted singley (lows/highs) but i could be wrong.on mine the highs are up in the sky lol, if i go under an overpass i can like bright the top of it.

Yeah I seem to be lighting up the top of trees pretty well with my highs. Good for owl watching I guess.

had the same problem, I ripped it apart and fix that "gear thing" that make it adjustable. try doing that. that "gear" doesn't meet with the bolt that you're adjusting....

Well if you want to know how to adjust them good, I know how to without anything but a measuring tape, the female torx sockets and tape, giving you have the same setup as me. Park your car a few inches in front of a building, tape off the center of you car, and then put a X for the center of your headlights on the wall. Then move your car back roughly 25 feet and then aim the lights for those tape marks you put on the wall.

I was able to adjust my lights using all four torx screws but two seemed to adjust them horizontally and the other adjusted both of them vertically. I can't seem to adjust them seperate from each other. and are you sure I can swap my old adjusters to these? kinda seems far fetched. It's sweet that I now have to work in the damn snow.
