LOL. The ' deleting of the DRL ' is what is causing it. Ever had a headlamp go out? Well thats how the car is reacting from altering the factory wiring. lights flash a few times at start up then go out. Didn't do this before deleting DRL's

Tech II will fix the issue without any modification to the car....

Then you didn't do it right. If you get that quick clicking of it turning on and off at startup, you didn't properly ground the DRL wire that's going to the BCM. Once you get that resolved your service light (for the drl...) should go away.

Wrong plug. It's the dark blue wire in the smaller plug on the top. I cut mine where it was split into 3 different wires.

^^^ Disregard this. There are 2 blue wires in that bundle, one is light blue and the other is dark blue. On my car, the dark blue wire was soldered and then taped to 3 matching color wires. I broke the solder and extended the wire with some speaker wire and a butt connector I had laying around and then grounded it to one of the screws on the OBD-II plug. Perfection.
