Dave,
Most users these days are running in 1024x768 at least. Can we get a wider forum-posting form? It's not even wide enough for most posted links.
Even just a 50% wider form would be appreciated.

and the way to post a image was simpler before.

You got it, boss. Expect to see something by late today.

Yup, I know, I'm working on that too. I'll have it back to the way it was before by default, with some sort of option for people that want it the way it is now.

Then I think you'll probably like what I have on the drawing board right now. It might take me a little time to get completed, but I think it'll be really cool when its done. Also, unlike the current attachment feature, this one will be available to everyone (albeit with a bit more restrictions for non-premium members).

Yup, thats on my list for today also.
Inevitably, everyone else wrote:What about the edit feature?
Yeah, sorry, thats taken a bit of a back seat for right now, because I'm working on some very significant changes that will directly affect that, as well as pretty much the entire site. Its all good stuff though. I think the changes will be well received when they are done.

Good point. I set it up so that it automatically wraps long words. If this works out it means no more typing loooooooooooooooooooong words so that you can strech the window out.

The problem still exists when a picture pushes the page out too far. I can't do anything about that right now, but I will address that issue soon. Hopefully it isn't too common. If it is then I'll have to go back to the old style.

One of the benefits of Firefox and the "resize images to fit browser window" option
i change my vote. i like the larger post box now.....

You got it. I fixed it so the buttons work similar to how they used to. I did tweak it a little though. For example, if you already pasted in a link and then realize it is supposed to be an image, just highlight it and click the image button. Or if you just click it without highlighting anything, it will prompt you for the link.

Is that JBO-High Definition, or Heavy Duty or Hard Drive?
