i hate to be blunt about things and no offense but sometimes you have to, you deserve it then. theres a sticky right in the newbie forum about sponsors and someone even said "if you have to pay to be sponsored, its a scam"
look at the quote from the other site. you have to pay 100 bucks up front. real sponsorships dont make you pay anything up front.
if you still want to go head w/ this so called "sponsorship" then go head but your just setting yourself up

You never had t pay for sponsorship but you usually have to spend x amount and have x amount in the car for sponsors to put there money into you. So realistically you do have to pay for it but in a different way. Tell me one car that was completely stock and wasn't a known person that got sponsors that paid to build there car up. Just tell me one and prove it.

id say its just another one like getsponsored.com, etc.
maybe they just have a different way of getting their money as opposed to $ up front then u just get discounts.

That's generally not how sponsorships work.
I'd love to drive in NASCAR, but I can't just call some companies up and put together a team and have them foot the bill.
There ARE cars out there built from scratch with sponsor's money but they're built by people who have already proven themselves capable.
Why the hell would some company just give money to some jerkoff that says he's going to build a car?
First you prove yourself, then companies get on board to back you. That's how it works.
These companies that charge for "sponsorships" are just banking on the idiots who think sponsorship is the goal and will do whatever it takes to think they've achieved that. Basically, they're running a sort of Sam's Club for auto parts. You pay for the membership, and then get some discounts. Of course, you can get better deals just dealing with companies that are supporting us in the scene, like CarCustoms and Gravana and others.
As mentioned, if you're dumb enough to pay after reading all the warnings, then nobody will feel sorry for you. Sadly for the rest of us though, it's people like you that are keeping these companies running. You probably also buy fake Viagra from spam.
If people didn't fall for them, they wouldn't be in business and we wouldn't have to address these questions again and again.
