ok, something sparked my intrest, i saw a 4 door z24. but, i need to know what years, they were and if there was a 5 speed option.
2002, but only for the first half of the year. They were available in 5 speed. However there weren't very many made. They are out there, but you may have to travel a long way to find one, depending on where you live.

We got them from 02-05. The US got them only for part of 02 as Dave said. When the US finished with the 2.4L and got the Ecotec's, they also did away with the Z24 name and started the LS Sports.
All the cars the US got as LS Sports, we continued to get as Z24's.
Or you can find a LS Sedan with a 2.4L and convert to the Z24 or LS Sport body package.
I have a 97 LS Sport. Its essentially a Z24 4 door, or as I like to call it... a Z 20-4-Door
I have all power options, with a 2.4L and 4spd auto transmission.

Your car is no more a Z24 sedan than mine is an LS sport sedan. Calling it anything else is just plain poser.

It still says LS Cavalier on my trunk lid for a reason. Proud of it, it will remain on there until I sell it. When someone ask me how I got a 2.4L in my car, I say it came from the factory that way. And reference it as a Z24 4 Door (z24door) so that they kinda get what I am trying to explain.

Love it all you like but Essentially its NOT a Z24 4 Door.
Value of a 97 4 door Ls with a 2.4 = nothing.
Value of a 4 door Z = More than a 2 door Z24
If it was not a Z to start with, it will never be a Z. Just a poser. Does putting a V8 in a V6 mustang makes it a GT? NO.
I don't consider the 03+ as a 4door Z24 since they all had the Eco. Nothing more than options. Not rare either. If you look at the 4 door Z24 of 02, they are "hard" to find but I got one. They stand out alot more than the 03+ 4 door.

i have never seen an LS sport sedan so i wasn't sure if they built them or not.
but i do recall seeing a 2000 Z24 sedan at work once, but that was the only 2000 ive seen so it was probably not a ture Z24.

My uncle-in-law owns a 4door z, the pic below. Not the greatest pic, I know, but you can see a rear door in the pic of the blue cavi.
I've seen quite a few around the Southwestern Ohio area, but none anywhere else I've been. Strange.

When i was still in highschool some lady came to pick up her kids in one...it was gorgeous..
HE HE i own one. it's blue standard and just got it's lip kit back on and new sway bars+bear breaks. As stated before they were produced for all of 3-4 months in the U.S. so around 5000 or so american 4 door Z's were built.

my kit is completely stock outside.
I know that your Z has stock GFX but I didn't had a front lip when I bought it. So I found a nice Rk sport lip for 100$ canadian so that's why I said i don't have pictures of my Z with my lip.
