Just a simple question, is it worth going premium? i was premium back in the day but was not really welcomed into teh premium forums to well. but as of last night i came home to a note on the table and my house empty of off my gf stuff so i need to find somethign to fill this time and most of my spare time goes to this forum so jsut wondering if things are happy and joyful in there or not anymore lol.. or at best worth the geen i would be spending.. i will prob get it anyway cause it is better than sitting in the corner beign self loathing lol
I wouldn't go premium just to access the AG forum.
Go premium because you find value in the site and want to do your part to contribute to its well-being. If you spend a lot of time here, the membership isn't a lot to pay and you get the little star under your posts (among the other more tangiable benefits).
Of course, with your gf gone, you might enjoy the pr0n, too.

heh, i dont even go into AG or AAG ever. I basically go premium cus i post alot and i like to support the site that supports us. if it wasnt for JBO my car would be stock and id have all kinds of money and nothing to do with it
i love JBO and will always pay to be premium. and i do it month by month so i never notice the $2 each month missing

man, as far as not being welcomed very well goes...dont let it bother you. think of JBO like an online high school. if your not one of the "popular" people here (ie: the ones with alot of ish done to thier cars), or you dont know them personally...you wont be welcomed. just like high school, theres the top people, thier bunch of groupies, and then everyone else. it doesnt matter how long youve been on here, or how much knowledge you actually have...you will be flamed by someone.

I went premium just because of the value of information that I get here, and the ability to post as much as I want. Some of the info that I have gotten here, including the steps to do my 2.3L oil pump swap is worth WAY more than the small amount I paid to go premium. I'd say go for it if you go on the site alot and appreciate the information.

I went because of the 100 post limit, now i remember that there was the ad bot, then i now have an edit button, yeah not much into the ag or aag. but there are some benefits. i did it because i wanted to.
