I Got some things planned for the cavy in preparation of the GM bash. Made me curious of what everybody else is doing. So To the ones who are going or are planning on going, what do you plan on doing to your j-bodies in prep of it?
I'm planning on new rims and tires, AFR/nitrous/volt gauges, new cluster (odo is out), and nitrous. Possible tint but i'm not sure yet.
The beer cooler trunk mod. Jumping in it and having fun.
dusting it off from being in storage, put the 18's on and roll...
more boost. more power. more everything. well less traction.
currently:
Intake manifold is being made
Build the PCV system
Powdercoat a bunch of stuff.
Fix front bumper to fender joint
clean up dash and steering wheel bezel
clean fresh tune
more boost
hoosier drag radials
team green LSD
how much boost are you gonna be running? Wish i could just dust my ride off and go lol.
IF things go down right and I get a better job, my list is pretty long.
needs new tires no matter what for Summer. trying for 225/50R16. if I do this, clean and re-paint the Beretta GTZ rims I have.
either way, I'm getting a small snail from my one friend, so setting it up for the remote turbo, if I do that, remove the spare tire well.
re-prep the 14" rims I have for the drag tires.
paint front and rear bumpers factory color, same with trunk. leaving spoiler black.
put CF hood onto this one.
continue proper maintenance.
get second LN2 block and start building it up while hoping to not blow this one up.
transfer over sway bars and rear tower bar
get new struts for the springs so I can lower this one.
there is more, I just can't think of it. . .

save enough money to be able to go... and not bring a j-body.
I get mine ready by choking out hookers to fill my trunk so it sits lower.

- all kinds of misc. work
