me and the g/f have decided to up and drive to Oregon this weekend.
we should be rolling in to Salem Sunday morning. I'll post as soon as I can, see what's going on and if I'll have time to meet a few JBNW peeps.

Ah hell. I'm tapped for cash this weekend, so I won't be able to make it down. Have a safe drive, bro.
the drive was cool, except the long spot between Vegas and Reno. Mt. Shasta and the Hoover dam was awesome.
Oregon is really nice. the weather is awesome here in Salem, especially compared to Phoenix. it only took us 20 hours to get here, so we pulled in around midnight last night. woke up this morning to a flat on the Trailblazer though. that sucks.
No worries Kardain. I'm pretty sure we'll make it back up here later on this year.

we got back late last night. I didn't want to leave. LOL
it was absolutely beautiful in Salem. we were only there for about 24 hours, so we didn't drive around much. just went to see some friends.

Come up for longer later on this year. Gotta see some of the sights. Multnomah Falls, Tillamook Cheese Factory, Cannon Beach, Portland (especially the Saturday Market), etc.
we're gonna try like hell. we're thinking sometime in November if the cash is there. I'll be 30 in November too, so that would make for an awesome b-day present.
