Price depends on what you want.

How would you define "stage II"?

What would make it different from stage I or stage V?

I have no idea what that means. You tell me what your goals are, and I'll make a recomendation, and price it accordingly.

Shane, i'm local here in winnipeg, you can email me BigBlockVolare@gmail.com, basic porting is 3angle valvejob, bowl blending, and gasket match, usually starts somewhere around the $450 range for local people.

I have a flow bench so if you interested in how much you gain from a stage one to stage two then i can help you there also, however stage "two" is abit more cash as things start to get alittle more technical...

and as for "stages" of porting, hang around the muscle car world and thats where the "stages" of porting all started...

Thanks so much for responding,i prefer someone in local area. 450 seems okie for prices. but i dont see how you cna go stage two on a sunfire lol. muscle cars no probs, but if you mean stage 2 as doing some sort of valve job at the same time, that sounds interesting

Go with the local guy. It sounds like he knows what he is doing, and it'll be easier for everybody.
That stage1/stage2 thing is just a bad way of referring to different levels of work. The problem is that everybody has a different idea what each stage is.
Its aloy easier if you refer to the actual work being done.
I ussually charge about $750, but that includes cams too.

lol, you can go "stage2" easily on a jbody, as i said it depends on how much cash you have to spend, costs money to go fast!

Looks like it's back to the FAQ for you! P&P the head does not involve boring out the engine. Good luck finding your cat.

15.3 @ 89.97mph, 14's on the way?
