Note that mileage isn't stored in the cluster in the 00-05 cars so don't be concerned with that if anyone asks. It'll read whatever their ECU tells it to read.

I'd take it off your hands for the $30 if you were local. As a bit of advice though... Americans will pay a lot more than $30 for them because they can install them in their cars and put a new face on them to get the 240 km/h calibration. Theirs only read up to 190 or so.

You guys know that HP coilovers are garbage and Monroe's are OEM replacements, right?

Don't mean to ruin a sale for ya, but that stuff should really be in the garbage.

wildweasel - I am not looking for a super performance coil over. Don't have the use for them. I appreciate your concern, but they will do for a fancy stock replacement.

I don't think you understand. This isn't about performance, it's about safety. Those struts can't handle the spring rates on those coilovers. That means they'll be blown soon if they're not already blown and you'll be bouncing around like a pogo stick. That can lead to loss of control and you can use your imagination to think of all the bad things that could happen.

If you want a new suspension but don't have the money for some high-performance system, get yourself some Prokit springs. These are not the solution for you, or anyone else.

Watched a pogo stick civic with a bad drop on blown shocks hit a bump and fly out of control into oncoming traffic around Mavis/Steeles.

I laughed.

I would of laughed harder if he had gotten hit.

Thanks for the info, i never looked at it that way. Does a prokit go well with stock struts? Or am i going to have to upgrade them as well. If so what would you suggest?

Eibach Prokit springs with KYB AGX shocks are one of the best combinations around for people not wanting to spend more than they have to but wanting a drop with a nice ride. I recommend it all the time.

On stock shocks, it's a bit of a crap-shoot. Some people have them last a year, some don't make it past a month. The stock shocks really shouldn't be used at all since they WILL blow. It's just a matter of time. I t will just end up costing you more money to get the alignment done after the spring install, and then again when the shocks blow and have to be replaced.

A good suspension isn't cheap and it's a lot more important than a lot of people seem to give it credit for.
