As the topic says.. Im looking for an Optima yellow top battery. Anyone know where to get one of those? Ive been looking for one for a while now, nothing in stock at Costco, CT, Walmart and few shops that I know.
Please help me, thanks!

Costco in Newmarket (my work) has 7 of the yellow tops on hand. the price is $187.
they do carry the red top aswell, at $129.
if you need one, go get one. if you go to your local costco or even phone them, they can check the stock of the yellow top at other warehouses and see if they have them. the warehouse in barrie have some on order, but not on hand.
have fun.

Why pay $187 though when you can get one from Short Hand for $230??

cause im a cheap bastard!
im so cheap, im using a 'Kirkland Signature' battery that got returned at my work.
they are made by Johnson Controlls, maker of interstate i believe. apparantly the battery would not hold a charge. this will be the second year in the car now, and i have left my lights on accidently a few times, charges back up fine.
plus, the price was right... nothing wrong with something for free.
p.s. - i was eyeing up an optima yellow that "wouldnt hold a charge" either, but i let one of the other guys have it since i claim quite a few of the things that make its way into the shop.
(snow tires for the cav, snows for the girlfriends mom, 3 sets of summers for the cav, a steel rim to replace one i bent, etc.)
ahh the perks...

I heard that the Optima's from Walmart/Price Club were 2nd rates thus why they are sold off cheaper. I bought a red top from Walmart and had very bad luck with it, and it was a nightmare to get it replaced after the 90 days...
