Hey all,

I have a 1999 Sunfire for sale. It is Black, 2 door, GT, tinted windows with about 142000 KM on it. It has A/C, Power windows/locks and Sunroof. Comes with a stock CD player and tires have healf thread.

Engine make a nice tapping sound but it does drive. It doesn't have a loss of power just a random tapping sound. Should be an easy fix for somebody with more time then I have right now. Located in North York, Ontario area.

Car has newer brakes all around, recent tune up and synthetic oil every 5000km.

Will upload pics tomorrow morning

Serious buyers only please.

$2000 obo

Thanks all

How much does a wrecker give for a complete car like this with just a bad engine?

I mean... if the engine were fine this would be worth $5k or so. Can't you pick up a 2.4L for $500 or so?

I would put the value of the car in good condition @ around $ 3900 to $ 4800. Your regular joe has a no knowledge on such things such as replacing a motor, I know most shops will charge around $ 1200 for the motor and $ 500 to 800 $ to install it. Most people just dont have the common sense to attempt anything like that. To much work.

I would repair it myself and then sell it but I just don't have the time or cash right now. I just bought a new car and this happened. I need to get rid of it.
