I am looking for (if it exsists) a belt tool for the ss/sc tensioner. Tried the dealership but they they don't have a clue.
15mm wrench. At the top of the tensioner there's a square casting where the open end of the wrench fits overtop of. It's not a very good design, as the wrench always slips off when you load it up with tension. Most people (myself included) just use a prybar, like this:

I picked up a tensioner tool from Princess auto for $5. not found a car it doens't work on yet. Altough 2200 i have to remove the top motor mount. it's just a long handle that comes with a few sockets. Or do as Bill suggested.
I spent quite a bit more than that on a ratcheting one from Snap-On. Love the thing.

You find a way to make that work on this tensioner, you can have my vote for man of the year.

I guess borrowing the Snap on one from me convinced you of it's quality. I love Snap On. Just not the prices.
