Finally sold the Cavalier....
Wednesday, August 27, 2008 9:55 AM
So I finally did it, after 6 years of ownership and a year of trying to sell the car its gone.
About a month ago it was picked up by its happy new owner.
I had a fun run with it for sure, made a lot of friends on here that will always be friends, And I'm definatly still around. Will always have love for the J scene!
I currently drive a 300 and have 2 bikes (one needs to go) and looking to get rid of the 300 for a 2008 Audi TT S-line....
Still for sale are my old seat covers.... if anyone is interested let me know. Just want them gone!!
heres a few pics from the car my last day with it:

And heres the new car and bikes:

The grey bike is for sale, the silver one is brand new!

and a pic of the seat covers if anyone is interested. Looking to get between $200-250. Theyre GM neopreme and vinal. SAy sunfireinthe middle (which barely anyone ever noticed even). they look like stock in the car as u see. Theres a small tear on the drivers on from nomal wear.

Thanks for looking!

Congrats on finally getting it sold!!

Man... you really don't know what you want eh? Done with the pimpin' 300 and going with the complete polar opposite in the TT?

thanks Kev!
you know me, I can never decide! But if you remember I wanted a TT back in the day, just wast a feasable car for me to get. Im getting older now, might as well get something that I love and hopefully will love for a while. Ya, done with the 300 Id say... I actualyl think my parents are goign to buy it off me as they love it so at least I'lls till get to pimp it from time to time. Hoes the Mazdaspeed?

Robbie, thanks! I loved them too, I think id like it if I bought a SRT...

Toronto, thanks as well! Im loving the new R6, still love the old one too though, so im pretty torn. I think I only like the new one cause its brand new, literally 7 days old today!

I hear ya. You married or have kids yet? Something like the TT pretty much has to come before kids... or after them unless you're lucky enough to be able to have an extra car on the road.

The MS3 is a blast to drive, and practical to boot. I think it's the perfect daily driver for me these days.

Still can't bring myself to give up the Sunfire though. heh. Compared to the MS3, it's kinda like a giant go-cart.

not married yet, but close i think... getting on in years (already 24).
The tt defiantlyis not a kid hauler, but my gf dirves and SUV and always will. Im trying to get her into a porsche boxter, but she loves her SUVs and cant quite afford the Porsche Cayanne (which we both like).
As impractical as the TT is, especially the convertable if i choose that route, I dont care! I love it! haha
Do you still drive the Fire? I remember the days of working on mine in ur garage... the good old days!
Ive heards those speeds are a blast to drive, and they sound amazing!!!

No, I haven't driven the Sunfire in over a year.

I did an oil change on it a couple days ago though. It made me feel all nostalgic. I think I've gotta start stocking up on some new parts so she'll be a whole new beast when I finally do get to drive 'er again.

Cayanne is nice but the new Grand Cherokee SRT8 I believe it as fast, if not faster, for half the price hahaha. Its good to see you found a buyer...was definitely a very beautiful car and that paint is just sick.

Looks like the new owner of Matt's car lives in Mississauga. I've seen the car like 5 times in the last week .. which is a lot more than the last 3 years. She still looks mint and that paint looks just as good at night as in the sun.

tabs: thanks! i was kinda sad to see it go too, it was my first car... i loved it for sure!

Scott Fry: Ya the SRT is faster then the base model Cayenne, but the GTS will smoke it! its a big suv and does 0-60 in something stupid liek 4 seconds. And not to mention the style! Im not such a fan of the Jeep, the Porsche is classier and much nicer IMO.

Im not sure where the new owner lives, but im happy its not around here! I couldnt bear seeing it every day! Glad to hear hes keeping it nice! Id hate to see that it just went to hell after I sold it.
I dont wnat to say how much I got for it, as the buyer probably wouldnt want to share, but we went with a price that made us both happy to some degree.
I can tell you that I sold the skirts separatly, got about $500 for the full kit (which is a fraction of what I paid 6 years ago! Literally a fraction, the front alone was $900 or something like that)

Kevin: WOW! that picture is old, our cars look sooooo shiny though! do you have more???

heh. I do, but they're pretty much all of my car with bits of yours available in the background. I'm sure I have pics of yours too, though they're probably archived somewhere. I pulled that one off my website, which is all pics of mine.
