Fender roller kit!! anyone know who I can borrow or rent? please help me out guys! thanks much!
I know someone on the west side had one and offered it as a service. For some reason Wheel and Tire Zone comes to mind, but I'm not sure on that.
We should get some guys to buy on the kit together.
Also found some guys on vwvortex who lents them out $50 for the rent for a week and a deposit required too. Gotta email him to find out!
I wanna overroll my rears

My rear tires got all cut up last year , from those damn lips.
Other wise I'm just gonna trim them down with a grinder .
ya im gunna need it for my rears too, its was fine untill i put my rear big brakes on!
I wouldnt try rolling the rears, u will have to trim them.
rears have been trimmed to the welds, its gotta be rolled now

Yup, they were already trimmed. Pushing them out of limits is only way now. Crease will possibly happen but you can use a heater gun. It may help.
Shawn, Wayde, Chris, Myself and anyone else wanna split some money on the kit?? or should I order it. You all pay me $50 to rent? Lets work this out!
when will you be renting it? i wont be able to drive the cav anytime soon so i might have to come up and grab it....or we can do it all at my shop?
I could buy the kit.. so you guys can rent it anytime. I know its expensive. $250+ shipping. after a while it will make it up with those rent incomes.
Maybe renting one from one of those vw guys is better way to do it?
prolly would be the best just to rent it darren,
and then we will have a rolling fender day at my shop and we can all pitch in some cash for renting it!

I'll get in on this as well, Derren let me know bro. My rears are trimed and my fronts are rolled a little. But they need more.
Good luck with this guys. Like i told darren IF you go to far you'll more than likely have to do some body work to get everything straight again. The lips on my car are folded completely under and touching the fenders, but I also flared mine out pretty good. The drivers side is the worse of the 2 since it doesnt have any reforcement like the pass. does with the gas door. Its freaky to watch the quarter flex as that roller is going back and forth lol.

I was looking into this back in the day when my tires were rubbing. I solved it by just raising the coilovers a bit, but always thought this would be a good thing to do in the future.
I guess if ever I repaint the car, that would be the time then.
