technicaly the set up we use on our cars is already a C/O suspension. so your talking a regular lowering spring to an adjustable lowering spring. myself i prefer the regular lowering spring. adjustable one while being a nice theory, aren't as easy as just adjusting them up or down. they require measuring alot to get it perfect and basically once you get it, you'll never want to adjust it due to the pain in the ass asociated with the process. the ride ia also alot more harsh on the adjustable ones due to the spring being the size of a can of coke.
their both good, its up to you to decided what you prefer. both will ride great w/ the right struts

You're making it way more complicated than it has to be.
Adjusting coilovers is easy. It sounds like you're talking about corner balancing or something but for the average street car, the adjustment is as easy as starting from the top and counting the turns as you go down.
If you're not planning on adjusting the height though, then I recommend regular springs since you can get progressive rate springs that will give you a more comfortable ride.
