Does any one have koni yellow's along with the ground control used for them? gravanatuning has them and for the front it still looks like you have to cut the pertch off. i dont want to have to cut the perches, but i want to be able to have the ability to make the ride height the height i want it to be at. if any one can help me out here please post!

All GCs you have to chop the perch off. You can always weld it back on in the future if you want.

Why would you want to keep the perches?

No, you can't put them back on. Since you have Konis though, you could always get some blown struts for free and just transfer the Konis into them.

The back ones are removable so they can be removed and put back on.

i wouldn't want to keep them i dont want to have to cut them in the first place...

the only way konis come are that way. all their front for our cars are inserts and you have to cut up your front struts if you wanna use the konis

To add. We are not the only ones that use inserts
Can you believer that some BMW cars are inserts, Volvo, Mitsubishi, Nissan etc...

So don't think that we are the only ones doing it. Koni would have to be that good if someone in BMW etc.. is also going to use inserts.

Ok... so if I understand this correctly, the issues isn't whether or not you want to cut off the perches. It's whether or not you want to cut anything at all.

As mentioned, you have to cut the front struts no matter what to put in the Koni inserts. You do NOT normally cut off the spring perch though. Normally you cut just above them. For the Ground Controls, you cut off the perches.
