to all of you with koni reds and gc's

i just recently got my new suspension and by reading the title you guessed it, i got some koni reds and ground controls... my questoin to all of you is what settings do you have yours at, and how does it ride, i am moving up from my stock struts and eibach prokits
so i am very anxious to feel the improvement, i just don't want to have to take the struts off to adjust them a bunch of times before i get them where i would like them

thanks in advance

I honestly can't remember what mine are set at. It's been a long time.

I think they might be full stiff in the front and just a couple notches from full stiff in the back. The springs on the coilovers are a higher rate than any lowering springs so you need to having the damping set to the high side.

Once you get your alignment, you'll still be able to adjust them without taking the strut off the knuckle. Since the springs aren't compressed when the car is lifted, you can take off the mount and adjust the damping without removing it entirely from the car. It's still a pain in the ass but at least it won't cost you money in alignments.

All 4 of mine are "full stiff" as Kevin put it...

And guess what, the car rides stiff...

If it wasn't such a pain in the butt, I'd raise my car a tad and soften the ride. I'm just too lazy.

You need to find that fine line between too stiff and too bouncy.

thats exaclty what i am looking for ....... i will be putting these on as soon as i get my head gasket done.....i will probably set them one notch before the stiffest.....i also have another question, on the koni site it says that you have to push some kind of button the release it or something??? the only thing that i see is a plate with two holes on it....am i supposed to pop that off???

thanks again
