Looking for the amount of time my install should take, start to finish.
Plus, looking for any tips or things I may need to know when I do this install...
Yes, I do have access to air tools.
Thanks as always, for your time and help!
ECOTEC now with Maximum Bolt-Ons!!
same time it would take to do any other suspension swap. two bolts on the bottom in the front, three up top to drop it out. top nut spins off to get the strut mounts off, put them on the dspecs, bolt in = x2
one bolt on the bottom three on top in the back to drop out, one top nut to get the mount off, put it on the dspecs and put it back in x2
super easy. you need 13mm 19mm i forget what the top nut and the bottom bolts are. no biggy, like 5 sockets air tools. and maybe 2 hours. not even
BTW its Tein S-Tech, not Koni.
Cool Man! - anything else form anyone else!
thank you
ECOTEC now with Maximum Bolt-Ons!!
It takes me about 2 hours start to finish in my garage with no air tools.
BTW my stuff should be waiting for me when I get home tonight !
Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.
You're a maniac!
Generally takes me 3.5 - 4 hours with two people to change struts in my garage. We don't hurry, but we're not sitting around doing nothing either!
1 Hour per wheel means a bit much...to me anyway.
ECOTEC now with Maximum Bolt-Ons!!
Geez man 4 hours ! Your a slow poke ! lol ! Nope I lay out all my tools I'll need throw the jack under the rear axle
up goes the car throw it on stands pull the wheels and then drop the struts. The rear takes about 40 minutes to do give or take depends on how nasty the bolts are. Then on to the front ! Its not that bad at all. Too bad your not local cause I'd give you a hand.

ECOTEC now with Maximum Bolt-Ons!!
how much did the whole setup cost ya
I got 2 big boxes at home waiting for me. Struts AND springs ! But since mines already been dropped you wouldn't notice anything outwardly anyway.
I'll post pics, if I can figure out how. I suck at posting pics.
Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.
I just got my second box today(Tein) ----

ECOTEC now with Maximum Bolt-Ons!!
Sweet Buddy!!! Now hurry up and get them installed and show me pics!! Its ognna be beautiful!!
Go Go OG Traction!!
Jackalope and Silver you will notice a difference, the drop will not be as much as you think in the back, I would almost place a monetary wager on it, just measure before and after and you will see what I mean (and measure from the cenetrline of the wheel not the ground).
Hey Marchi...do I need to cut out any of the bumpstop!
ECOTEC now with Maximum Bolt-Ons!!
Silver I believe you need to trim some of the bump stop off. I'd just go w what Eibach says and do 1" or the first nub.
Whatever you guys do don't put the adjuster on your keychain. It will probably unloosen and fall out somewhere.
Thanks guy^^^^^ - going to do install now!
ECOTEC now with Maximum Bolt-Ons!!
Adjustor is just an allan key no? Mines been sitting in the little penny holder in front of the center console since I got them though.
The adjuster is a cool little tool that has an allan key on one end and a knob on the other.
