just reading a review someone left on karos site saying they were tough to put on due to having to bore out the front insert, whats that all about?
Yeah, the KONI Yellows and Reds are inserts not actual replacements. You have to cut your stock struts apart to make them work, it may sound like a lot of work but trust me its actually not. I had to do it with my KONI Reds, luckily I wont have to worry about it with my new suspension setup, Gravana PowerGrips
. Good luck.
The only additional work with the Yellows over the Reds is that you have to drill out the rear mount.
Honestly... it's not a big deal and in the end you feel like you've done something custom.
If you have a hacksaw, a drill, and an ounce of skill you'll be set.
There's directions floating around here somewhere with picture.
