Ground Control Help Maybe?
Monday, September 25, 2006 2:24 PM
I got the coilovers on over the weekend... Up front is perfect at a finger gap.. The adjuster <goldinsh thing> is level with the purple thing LOL

But the rears are the same setup as the fronts but I have 3 fingers worth of gap back there??
My questions is can I go lower in the back ? I know theirs more threads to go down but wasnt sure if the gold adjuster had to be level at the bottom of the purple thing..

Please excuse my lack of knowledge of the part names haha

Thanks
Ken

Ken if you have threads left you *can* go lower

heres my rear

as far as I know your still on stock struts, I wouldn't go real low but you physically can go lower if you have a 3 finger gap, in my pic above I have liek a negative 2 finger gap hahahahaha.

BMG - you ground controls are made by Eibach, anyone who carries eibach can get them for you. Your best bet is getting them through Karo carcustoms.net

Umm... purple thing?

Ground Controls use a gold collar on a red sleeve. Did they change colours or something?

Koni yellows or tokico D-specs, they are the only 2 struts meant for lowering that are still warrantied when lowered past 1.5" eiter way if your is sitting how mine is in that pic they will void your warranty regardless because its abuse. but either a full coilover setup or koni yellows, or D-specs, those are choices if you want to do it "right"
