Front Big Bear Brakes Mounting?

I need to know how/where the mounting for the big bear brakes get mounted. I got a good deal on the F kit and was wondering if it requires special mounting from the J-knucle or the wheel bearing.

Edit: Pictures would be great.

wild weasel has pictures on his website. the back of the knuckle has to be machined to fit the caliper bracket, so if he's including the new knuckles you get w/ the baer kit you're in luck, if not, you're going to have to spend money to get your stockers machined.

Yeah, thats probubly a no but I emailed him anyway, he took them off his car and is selling the car, chances are great the machined knucles are still on the car. O well...the F body stuff is 303mm instead of Bears 330.2mm so oh well.

I did mean Front kit...sorry, its just I was going to do the F body setup but then this deal crossed my path and started to question the need for the F body swap.....without the machined knucles, the F body swap will be almost as good and less money anyway, so I'll continue on my F body swap. Both the bear and the F body have 2 piston, its just 13" vs 12" so whatever. For the weight of our cars either one will do just fine.

from the pics it looks like the baer kit has an bracket that mounts to the stock caliper mounting location, same as the wilwood. the other modification is the spindle "ears" which can be taken off just by using a grinder.

No, it does not mount to the oem holes. It mounts to new drilled n tapped holes.

If he's selling you the kit, he should be giving you the knuckles as well. They're useless to him otherwise since he couldn't put stock brakes back on them.
