Suspension Question
Thursday, March 08, 2007 1:57 PM
Just another newb with the same old question...

I purchased (well haven't recieved yet) a set of the road magnet's from the GP and also a set of Koni yellow's to put on my car.

here's the questions:

1. Do you have to take the struts/shocks somewhere to have them pressed together before installing or is this setup a little different then the stock.
2. what else should I replace in the suspension arena while I have the struts and shocks out?

I just replaced the wheel bearing in both the passenger and driver side fronts and realized that my suspension is on it's last leg... the road magnets and yellow's are to get me through this year. I will be deploying over seas at the end of this year and when I return I will be either go with a nice coil-over set-up or airride... haven't decided yet... so don't knock my choice...

Thanks for any help you can give me...

stephan.

no need to take it anywhere you can do it all at home. you may want to look into new struts mounts if yours are bad. if so get the 95-99 mounts, they are much better since they are a 3 piece mount and not a 1 piece mount
