im looking at Eibach Suspension Pro Kit Springs they are sportline lowering coil springs and the approximate lowering is 1.7" front 2.3" rear. i have a Cavalier Z24 98 and i was wondering would that even ouut the height of the car or would the rear be lower than the front or what? and are they good springs? and also should i get struts as well? any help would be apprietiated im not much into the suspension so i oculd use some helps thanks
They even out the car nicely but you definitely need struts as well. Koni Yellows are a nice match.
Thats good that they even out the car good. i think i might have found something else though Matrix Coilovers has anyone ever heard of them? are they good if u have? but im confused with the coilovers do u need to get shocks, struts what do u need to get with them? and another thing is is that would any shockor strut work?
i havent heard of matrix coilovers. coilovers offer a bumpy/harsh ride. and yes you need shocks/struts with coilovers.
with lowering you need shocks/strutst to handle the lower stance. a 1.5 inch drop and KYB AGX go well together. any lower and you need Koni Yellows or something of equal value
Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
well i read it but it confused me like i said im not much of a suspension person im learning on it. well the Matrix coilovers are at summit racing web site i just didnt know if someone has heard of them or not but thanks for the help.
Don't bother with coilovers that aren't TEIN, Ground Control, Gravana, B&G, or KW Suspension... there are maybe a few other names that I've forgotten, but for the most part, you want to stick to those names.
I would suggest springs in all honesty. They are a safer bet.

ok so u think i should go with springs well the thing is is that i want to be able to raise and lower my car cause i live in an area full of rail road tracks and dips so when it comes to show i can have it low but when it comes to just riding around i cana raise it a lil bit and i dont want air though. is there a way i could do that with out air and coil overs then?
not with springs. if you want the adjustablitly you need coilovers. do not get some cheap coilovers that are like 100-200 bucks. your best bet is to get the tein basic setup. it comes with struts and coils and is a direct bolt it. i believe its 799 for the whole setup (could be wrong though). either way i think the tein basic is the cheapest way to go with coils while still doing it right.
