GC dinfferences?

wats the difference between the stock mounting ground controls and the koni ones? are the holes just bigger in the way that they mount? can i just drill em out like i drilled out my stock top mounts? id really like to know as there is some in the classifieds i have been wanting to get, thanks!

The Koni strut shafts are larger diameter. I wouldn't recommend "drilling" them out larger. If you took the upper perch to a machine shop and had them ream it, you would be better off. Or you could simply call GC and order two new upper perches for the Konis. Just tell them you had them installed with stock sturuts and then installed Knois, so now you need the larger hole. They're not expensive.

yeah well wen i installed my konis with my springs i took my stock mounts to a machine shop to have the hold made bigger, and if they are not expensive ill just hurry up and get the coils then lol, thanks for ur help man i always go to posts u have made in the past u seem to be very knowledgable on these coils, thanks for the input!

First I've heard of it, but it seems a bit odd to me that a good company like Ground Control actually lists the application for stock struts or for Konis. Just my $.02

People want to put them on stock struts, so GC makes sure they fit properly.

I'm sure they'd be the first to tell you that stock struts can't handle them and will blow, but driving on blown struts is your problem. Providing a kit that doesn't fit properly would be theirs.
