I gotta do this to the vert one of these days, or maybe it will end up with satch's SSBCs when we finish the new hotness.
Looks good I approve fully

I think bigfoot is blurry,
that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra
scary to me. There's a large, out-of-focus monster, roaming the countryside.

Yes I'm very happy with them,i went today to get my alignment and brakes bleed at pep boys, and it was raining when i got out of there, and not once did my back brakes lock up on me in the rain,it felt sooo good not hearing the abs going off coming to a stop light.

Lol I know, pulling them off not worrying about having to put them back on was the best. I only wish I had the means and the want to to do neon swap on my 02 beater, I freakin hate the drums on that bastard lol

Really had fun swapping out the drums to the discs, one of the easier swaps to do.

Can you clarify that these fittings go from the stock hard lines that run under the car to the new SS lines? If so, then that is what I need. When I bought my rear kit used, it was missing one of these, and none of the stores around me carried them, and it was Sunday so I had to rig up like 3 other adaptors to get what I needed..
^^^ Yeah those are for the rear, they connect the hard-line to the SS soft line that goes to the caliper.
I had to order all my fittings from summitt, the auto parts around here wont carry things like this in stock.

please remove the backing plates!
other wise looks great
Well he can remove the backing plates and still have a functional hand brake he can trim them down to look better. and those are not off a neon they are off the newer model intrepid you can tell from the pic where the abs sensor used to be its up into the bracket unlike the neon where it is in even though they are the same brackets i dont know why they changed it ever so slightly the backing plates also work with the neon's and they are not usually rusted out. Looks awesome by the way
At a later date I'll probably do something with the backing plate.
At the moment i want to touch up the caliper with some fresh paint, and also paint the fronts as well.
Thanks for the comments guys.

I don't quite understand, how do you tell the difference between the intrepid and neon?
If theirs a difference would the rotors/pads be different to?
First of all i meant well he CANT (Well he (can) remove the backing plates and still have a functional hand brake)
First the rotors i believe have the same diameter and thinkness but have a different bolt pattern and i do believe the calipers are the same throughout all years neons and intrepid, i wan just pointing out that the brackets themslefs are from a intrepid not a neon there is little to nothing different in them just the abs sensor on the neon they did it to be flush with the back of the bracket but on the intrepid they raised the "hump" for the abs sensor. take a look at misublu's swap thread and james cahilj original one and you can see the difference in the bracket with the abs sensor. Pads are the same too. Again i was just pointing out misinformation sorry if im confusing you lol
OK i see what your talking about now.
I didn't know there was a difference between the two,but i know from looking over the sticky the7/16-20 is on the intrepid to,and that's what i have.
Well thanks for pointing that out, least i know for sure now.
I think in time I'm going to upgrade the rotors to match my slotted rotors up front, and when i do I'll see about cleaning everything up.

That is not a good idea, every time you hit a bump you will be slowly wearing through the line. You need to run that line somewhere differently so it doesn't rub on anything.
Paying someone to install parts and bragging about it being fast, is like watching someone bang your wife and being proud to raise their kids.
From what I understand is the intrepid calipers are a smidge wider because the intrepid rotor is a little thicker. Same goes for the neon srt4 brake parts. The only thing shared is the parking brake shoes there identical all years all cars from what I've seen. And I think cav93 is wrong those loook like neon brackerts to me.

That was my first idea, then i remembered how misnblu routed his brake lines,so i went ahead and copied his.
I just didn't take any pics of it,well the one pic^^^ shows the line on the left side coming out of the twist axle.
nice work, i want to change mine to disc
Before saying someone is wrong i recommend actually doing research if you actually pulled more then five sets of actual neon rear brackets you know the difference between them and intrepid brackets. and as far as the calipers go they are the exact same do a autozone cross reference and see the parts between the first gen intrepid and neon are the same. and if you find a neon with rear discs and their backing plates are rusted the backing plates from any and i mean literally any year intrepid will work even 04 with the 95 neon brackets. even the rotors are the same just a different bolt pattern take a look at james cahiljs original thread and look at the abs input hole and take a look how its in and flat against the bracket and how the intrepid has a hump style...
