My cavalier has so much understeer it sucks. Im thinking about getting coilovers in the near future. I think the car has so much understeer beacuse most of the weight is in the front. just want to know what some of you have done and and how well it worked.The only thing i did was put tire pressure in the front at 30 psi and 40 in the rear that seeemed to help a little bit.

Rear sway bar, rear tires with more pressure than fronts, some negative camber and zero or a little toe-out in the fronts, springs or coilovers with adjustable shocks like Konis Reds or Yellows or KYB AGX.

Well your registry is bunk so we don't even know what kind of car you have or which mods you might have.
If you're all stock, 30 psi in the front and 40 in the rear is just gonna burn through your tires faster. You can adjust tire pressures at the track to tune for performance but using that on the street to try and compensate for the car's tuned in understeer is just going to cost you rubber.
Work with sway bars and damping rates to get what you want and start out be stiffening everything up so your car is predictable. Read the FAQ at the top of this forum to learn a bit and then ask some more specific questions.
could also use a smaller (width) rear tire. just be subtle, not extreme.
Today I was talking with my alignment guy abou this topic and he said me that not all fwd are the same. Many ones comes from the factory with neutral-understeer feeling and many other like our J-bodies comes with good amounts of understeer. In fact everything also depends in your suspension mods.
In theory a stock suspension j-body would reduce understeer with only a bigger rear sway bar (like the 26mm (1") Addco one) and using the stock front one. Another trick could be use the Camber adjustment bolts in front to get some negative camber in the front and some toe-out to reduce the understeer and let the car rotate faster.
Of course sport springs and shocks help a lot too.

the car would be harder to drive.
i have no under-steer
i have a bit of over-steer but it is not snap over-steer. it turns in just right neutral and when you lift mid corner she will step out at the limit. but it is safe

Add the stiffest rear bar you can find, throw your front bar in the trash, and get some stiffer springs and better dampers.
