RK Sport Coilover Question

I got the sleeve kit for my 02 Ls Sport. All the mechanics ive been to are quoting me around 300 for the install.....so im gonna attempt to install them myself. My question is: how high or low do i set the coilovers to give me a good drop but not rubbing? Half way up the threads, 3/4 ways down........what do you guys have yours set as? Thanks in advance!

put em as high as they go and go from there, it might take some work jacking it up, putting it down etc. but that's the only way you're going to get a drop that you like.... considering everyone thinks differently

I agree. Start from the top and then slowly work your way down from there.

With the Konis, I'd start at full stiff and then back off in stages to see what it feels like. If you've got the reds, I'd go full stiff in the back and a half turn from full stiff in the front and then see how you like it. It's obviously tougher to adjust them from there... but you can still do it to find what you like best.

hah ya when i put my TEINs on and tried to put it down, i couldnt get my jack out, the jack was too tall, and it was still sitting on the jack, even without the sideskirt hitting, I got a nice drop, but wont ever put it taht low, i like my front bumper too much.
