OK, here's the deal with the intrax. I was going to install the rear bar yesterday but have a few issues:

1) The U-bolts are actually "U" shaped, not a V like the rear Axel
2) The bushings that go on the bar for the "U" bolts is CHEAP PLASTIC! All the other bushings are black prothane
3) The holes in the bottom plates for the brackets don't line up with each other or the "U" bolt. Also those holes are a hair too small for the "U" bolt to fit through.
4) the box says "OEM replacement & upgrade "NO DRILLING REQUIRED" but the crap-tastic instructions say to drill

I fired off an E-mail to intrax bitching about their shotty R&D for our cars and their poor quality controls. I asked for brackets that FIT, but honestly, I'm probably going to have to make my own. But since the brackets don't fit together right, I'm kinda wondering about bar now... Just glad I did a test fit before I got my car in the air...

None the less, I'll let you know what I find out & keep you posted

Looks like you're the guiney pig and things aren't going well.

Considering how easy some of the others install, I suspect nobody will be recommending this one to anyone.

Gotta love when a company comes late to the table with a drastically inferior product. *sigh* Just trying to grab a piece of the pie without putting any real effort in.

I have 4 packages I'm waiting on (including yours), and my G/F is waiting on 2 so there's no telling what showed up.

It's all cool, I have a 2 ton jack, jack stands and a 110 peice (well really a mid 90's) tool set. I know a few things here and their, and the rear bar dosn't look to complicated (Will need help w th the front though) I also have an old H.S. buddy that has air tools... i just don't like using those because he's always stoned, and gives me crap about doing anything more than an oil change. Basically he thinks I'm waisting my time trying to build a 4 banger
