When u put on ur Sportlines with koni reds...
Do u keep the bump stop for the rear on there? where and how does it go back on? cuz when u put coilovers on u cut the bump stop...how does it sitll work since the sportline is such a bigger spring..do i need to buy new ones? And is it hurting anything not having a bump stop?
Also...i have heard Koni has a lifetime warranty? How do i go about this?
Thanks guys
also...where on the koni can i adjust it?
you simply slide the bumpstop over the shaft. it looks like a donut.
you can buy new, but not really needed. install what ya got. and yes you can hurt things hence the reason they recommend usin em.
warranty, call em. usually they charge you for one, they send you one, you install it send the old one back, they test it, find out you didnt abuse it from slamming it, etc etc, they usually send a refund check back.

Q: What is theKONI warranty? How do I go about getting replacements?
A:The KONI warranty is a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship and against wear out for as long as you own that car registered for street use. The warranty does not cover damage to the parts caused by misuse, misapplication, installation, motorsports, etc. The warranty does not include mounting bushings. If you determine you have a defective damper you can either contact the company which you purchased the unit(s) from or contact KONI North America directly at warranty@koni-na.com or 859-586-4100. To process your warranty, we will require a copy of the purchase receipt and a vehicle registration. We will generate a return goods authorization (RGA) and can replace the dampers in advance at your discretion. For more specific information about the warranty see inside back cover of our technical guide.

koni reds, take em off the car, push down on the shaft and twist it clockwise i believe...should hear a click. thats one adjustment stiffer.
alrite i better buy new ones...cuz i think i trashed my bump stops lol...but im not hearing any noises from the rear...i have them still on the front..
I am not the original purchaser of my Koni's...i bought them from a private seller...but they were Brand new...
I will email them and see what they say...
Thanks for the help!
Bump stops only come into play when you bottom out and when you do, you'll want to have them in there. They act as a last-ditch effort to absorb the impact.
you know how ur supposed to cut the bump stop when u put coilover/koni on...
how are u supposed to use the same small bump stop for a bigger spring like the sportline...

size of the spring doesnt matter.
a lowering spring is larger, but actually softer than a coilover spring.
will it be okay to put a brand new stock bump stop on it without cutting it? im talkin bout on the rears...and where is the shaft on the setup on the rears?
its that big silver shaft sticking out of one end of the rear strut, the end you put the nut on to hold it all together.
