All right I've had some problems with my front suspension over the last few weeks ok. Well I replace mostly everything (tie rods, ball joints, struts) even got an alignment. But my front suspension is making some kind of grinding noise when I get down to like 10 to 15 mph. Also it's eating up my tires really bad, what could be my problem? Also I changed out the brake caliper, pads, and everything still down know where the noise is coming from. Can anyone help me out?
did you replace the strut mounts when you replaced the struts ?
Are you on stock springs and struts? Not lowered? What sort of wear are you getting on the tires?
Well I did also replace the strut mounts last year. Also the tire is wear on the inner side of the tire. And this grinding sound only sounds on the driver front side of the car.
Oh I forgot to mention that I am on stock springs and struts. But I wanna lower the car but I want to fix this problem first.
Have you noticed further wear since you got the alignment? How long did you drive around before getting it aligned?
You have negative camber. Yay.
Well I notice that it really wears down the inner side of the tire fairly fast, I got the alignment as soon as the changed out the tie rod ends. But how can I have negative camber when I haven't lowered the car or changed any ride height adjustments to the car? I don't know I'm stomped on this one I think i'm gonna take it back to the shop and see if they can see what's goin on with my car.
