I notice when i go to apply my ebrake I have to yank it back all the way before it will engage, and that if it is even at halfway the car will still roll. WHat could the problem be?
Second, the baer and rksport rear disk conversion kits, do they work with the stock abs? if not, how do u ditch the abs system?
The ebrake is self adjusting. If it works, don't worry about it. When your shoes wear a bit more, the adjusted will turn a notch and the handle will engage lower again.
The disc conversion works with ABS.
well thats the problem, it doesnt work, i can still roll it unless its pulled all the way up.

When you pull it all the way up, does it hold the car on a hill? If so... then it's working.
If it makes you feel better though, check the shoes to make sure they're not due to be replaced.
It is supposed to self adjust but it wont because are cars are too light, just like they said ^^^ You need to adjust your e-brake with the sproket you rotate it till it almost touchs your drum. Or if your really good and know how much you need to turn it you can take off the dust cover (looks like a light blue oval rubber cap on the backside of your drum) and you can reach the sproket with a screwdriver from there. just be carefull you need to rotate the wheel (sprocket) the right way otherwise you will make your brakes worse. And if you rotate the wheel the correct way but too much your shoes will rub your drum all the time and can lead to warping so be careful
