Going to be picking up a cheap 96' Cavalier today, it was in a small accident and got hit in the front passanger side bumper.
There is a small electronic module that took a hit and possible something else is missing judging by the hanging (what looks like vacuum hose) wires and hose.
Anyone know what's in this location?
Thanks
that would be the ecu

If it's the ECU, wouldn't the car not even run?
I didn't get a good look at it but it looked like some of the wire where not connected.
The car actually starts and drives fine for the most part. Although the ETS and Check engine lights are on. I pulled the codes and they were (TPS, MAP, Misfire, Bank 1 lean, ECT sensor).
Car could still run depending on what wires are cut.
the only other thing on that side i can think if is the horn and thats right in front of the ecu
