I would like to know how to ground the engine?. I mean the grounding kits that are selled, I would like to know how can I do it by myself, what type of wires to use and were to connect them instead of buying the kits witch I found a little expensive.

Pretty much the same thing with your Ecotec though. You've still got the same wires to deal with between the battery, alternator, and starter.
