i was wondering if anyone would know what pistons i
should get to put my z24 compression down to 8.5
to 1 any help would be grateful

Why is this nonsense? I have 8.9:1 compression pistons in my motor right now. With the headgasket I have its closer to 9:1 though.

I run 9:1 aswell, or hopefully close to... what I was making a joke about was getting 8.5:1 pistons to get 8.5:1 compression, completely a sarcastic comment.

yeah to get your CR Higher wouldnt you need to run like... Less then a headgasket?

Karo: The headgasket is .030. I did the math at one time and the CR was somewhere between 8.9 and 9.

QBE: If you run a HG thinner than stock you'd raise your CR. Not much though but it will.

Thats what I meant... but if you go better doesnt it get thicker?
