for future reference, if you look at your harness you will see that its keyed and the trans has a notch in it. 90 degrees from the squeeze tabs.
I got one yesterday for $27 new

my dad is going to check a wriring diagram and see if it could be hooked to the bcm if not then we will probably hook to the pcm. If we can hook it to the bcm i will let you know.

just use a continuity tester to find the right wires and hook it up just about any place in the main wire loom under the hood. You can see where I hooked it up in mine, it's a good place since it's fairly close to the large grey seal where I ran the wire to the inside

uumm correct me if I'm wrong here but, the BCM does not have any control over the transmission as I recall.
haha, dont you hate that, when you cant get an asap answer and your so excited to order it!
do you think it causes any real problems with the tranny? i have heard people saying they can chirp tires going into second, isnt that really hard on the tranny?
this post should be made a sticky.
I love how it comes back for a week or two. then goes away. then back.

so no ones gonna help me out with this?
the correct plug is exactly like the one in the pictures on the first page of this post. i have talked to ppl i know that have the Eco, the install is the same. the plugs are the same, the wires are the same.
yeah ilooked at it i have two plugs, each has a black with white, neither has red with black so umm wtf?
get a picture of each and their surrounding locations so we know what your talking about, and if you don't have a digital camera then borrow one or have some one take them for you.
thanks for the write up littlebill. this should be a breeze

Got mine yesterday and installed. Chirping going into 2nd. The only thing about this kit, when shifting into 3rd on setting 2, it sounds as if I have a blow off valve on the tranny. Does shift hard though, but no real problems. I have a check engine light that is on. From the way the car is running, I know that there is nothing wrong with the car. I am going to take the negative terminal off of the battery for about 15 minutes or so and then connect it back to the battery and see if that fixes the problem with that light coming on. I do not think that I had that terminal disconnected long enough for the computer to reset. I was too anxious to drive the car with the kit on it. I think that I am going to enjoy this kit, since I have already enjoyed it yesterday.
hey umm... i dont have a cam or know anyone who has one so if anyone sees this and has the kit on a 2003 cav please please take pictures or post which colors you used or something cuz i really wanna try this out
