will 17x7 fit my 1997 cav convertable?, i know stock is #x7.5

what offset? 17x7 will fit fine but get an offset between 35-45mm i believe. you also want 225/45/17 or 215/45/17 for tires

Like he said... and make sure they're a 5x100 bolt pattern.
