Until I can afford some new rims/tires for my 05 Sunfire I decided to see what it looked like without the hubcaps on and I like it better.. Any opinions?
I was also thinking of maybe a set of hubcaps that only cover the center of the rim... This will also be what it looks like for winter mode, saskatchewan winters are long and cold...

I also just thought about maybe taking the black plastic lug screws on the original hubcap and screwing them onto the bare lugs, that might look better yet... Easier to keep the tires and rims clean without the hubcaps on...

here's another pic with the plastic lug covers on the lugs and the rim cleaned up a bit...

steelies is the way to go. i always liked the look, hubcaps blow
sell the hubcaps on ebay and save towards your car.
that way you dont have to worry about curb rashing your hubcaps.
happy happy joy joy
Winter mode, um Stealies it is...
next summer I'll have a set of nice rims/tires!
Before...

I vote for hubcaps and tireshine
I think you should chuck the hubcaps into oncomming traffic....

i mean to be honest the hubcaps look better on unless u slam and tint ur car but thats just my opinion , but its a jbody and i like how almost all of em look, def not bad looking whichever way u decide to go
I find that stock hubcaps look much better than just steelies. If I see steelies, I assume their winter wheels... if it's winter. If not, I assume you lost the hubcaps or they were stolen or something.
Now if you actually lost them or they were stolen... then I find steelies look better than almost any aftermarket hubcaps I've ever seen. Either get a new set of the stock ones or do without!
@!#$ i messed that quote up, sry kinda new to this and mad tired, top line is what wild weasel wrote, sry for any confusion
car just looks cheap without the hubcaps, put them back on until you get real rims, atleast it looks descent that way. were you from in sask?
After a week or so of running steelies, I have decided to put the caps back on... (heading out to do it now)
I live in Craven (25 minutes from Regina)
Thanks or the link to sask j body.. will check it out for sure

rock out with your .. uh steelies out....
just steelies are ugly in my opinion... hub caps are normal and stock... i rather normal and stock if it's not going to be a nice 18 or 19 inch rim
I just don't see any value in drawing attention to a car's deficiencies.
Leave the stock hub caps on and nobody will bat an eye. They look like they belong there, and blend in.
Taking them off is like painting drum brakes bright colours. People definitely notice them and that's not a good thing.
