For all you polishing and coating need's
I don't know if they would rub or not, I know that 45's will throw your speedometer off though... you should go with 40's if you have 18" wheels...
well i have 225/40/18s now and they rub on my front bumper a little bit. just barely, nothing serious. if i were you id get 215/40/18
I've got 225/40/18's and I have plenty of clearance.

yea i think my problem is because of my poorly made kit. i'll see next weekend if i have any problems when the new kit goes on.
Turn them down. They're just too big around. Get 225/40/18 or 215/40/18.
With the wear that I had on my 215/40-18... I would go with 225/40-18... as I mentioned in another post, a 'tire expert' told me is should have bought 225's with my 18's and not 215's.. the 215 wear quickly on the outside shoulder because there is not enough rubber on the road... again, this is what I was told and what I experienced... I know 215's are allowable to keep your speedo correct and all, I'm just saying from experiecne, the 215's wear quickly on the shoulder (plus they're not cheap either...haha, the 225-40-18's are easier to find at a cheaper price)
