I dont think so... I have 225 on my 7" rims... Judging by that... id say no... but im no expert
they should fit, but I wouldn't reccomend it unless the manufacturer says it will fit. Call them up, or ask your local tireshop. Tire manufactures typically post rim range, of how wide or thin it can be.

According to TireRack, they'll fit on wheels from 6" to 8" wide.
Keep in mind though that those tires are an inch shorter than the stock tire height so they'll look funny and cause a number of issues for your car. If you want wider tires, go with a 225/55/15 instead.
Well going from his double post about it, he is using drag radials, they will be fine.

Ok. I've narrowed down what drag radial I want. It comes down to BG's, Nitto N01's, or Yokahama A032R's or A048's. BUT.. i'm using a 2 gen rim, 15x6. And the tires come in 225/50/15 and i don't know if that will fit the 15x6 rim.
Anybody have any comments on tires to use or size?
Thanks

Went to the tire place. Yes, 225/50/15 will fit a 6-8" rim..like u said. BUT i would go to 55 series b/c of 1" diff in height, but i can't. They don't make them that size

If they're for the track, then the 50's will be just peachy. If you intend to use them for street driving though... then I'd look into a different brand of tire where you can get the correct size.
