this is NOT a cavalier/sunfire question (rubbing is not an issue for the corvette). what are the widest tires you could fit on 8" wide rims? tire rack recommends 245, so im thinking, 265, possibly? any opinions?

i don't know if this helps but my dad's got 15's on the dune buggy and we run 295/50/15's on it.....those things are wide as hell
