the proxy 4s arent meant to be an all season tire if am correct
If you're putting that much mileage on the car, you should definitely have two sets of tires. Winter tires and all season's.
The Proxy 4's are a great choice for all-seasons but you may even consider going with a lesser performance tire such as the Toyo Proxes TPT, which wear quite a bit longer at the expense of better traction. Get something in a 225/50/16 for performance and longevity.
For the winter, pick up some 14" steel wheels and some 195/70/14 winter tires. With the mileage you're putting on, you're better safe than sorry and you'll certainly get the full use out of both sets of tires.
i have the Toyo Proxes TPT on my stock z24 wheels, just got em last winter and they were pretty good, only got stuck once and i wasnt driving it then... and they wear pretty good i've had them on since nov 8, 04 and they still look brand new and my car is lowered if that matters.

I ahve a set of Michilen Hydroedge tires on my stock rims. I love them. They feel a lot better then the stocks did or the BFs I had after them.
They are amazing on dry ground, and dencent in the snow with wicked rain traction. Mine are still rpetty new though, so that has something to do with it im sure.

Me and three of my friends have Falken Ziex 512's which are an all season tire. I went from the RSA's to the Falkens and the grip is out of this world. The only downside to this tire is the fact that it sticks so well that it's going to make you want to take every turn fast. I HIGHLY reccomend them.
