if anyone had a bad experience or so let me know..
i got my 18s off and switched on the winter wheels.. so my 18s got fresh rubber on them.. i have them wrapped in plastic and then in boxes.. is it needed to let out the air in the tires? or leave them as is.. any input would be great.. like i said its fresh rubber on them so i dont want to ruin a fresh set..
Currently, I store mine in my basement. I put a piece of cardboard under one, and stack the others on top of that one. I just make sure they are clean before storing. I leave the PSI alone.
ok so far so good as what im doing.. also. . having the wheels stand up right as they would installed on the car. would that do anything of off shaping a tire from the wheel weight?. might sound werid.. but get it?.. or rather lay them flat on the side..
its fine, just put them away and they'll be fine
I just put 'em down at my shop in the garage for the winter sitting up in plastic bags. The PSi is usually never a problem, but you can always check that when you put 'em on, which I would highly recommend,

yea ill be checkin the psi when i put them im, im more looking at from leaving the air in there it wont create water or so, being like in a compressor when i leave the air in it water tends to build up then i got to drain it out..
I went to stack mine and can't do it because they'll chip one another. Damned things sit metal to metal rather than on the tires!
Anyhow, I drop mine down to 20 psi and store them in plastic bags indoors. Just don't store them near any electrical motors, such as a furnace fan or something. Apparently the negative ions produced attack the rubber or something.
